Andre Lamont Locke is the son of the Late Cheril J. Lock Terry, Arthur Terry and Jackie A. Lock.
Andre’s rearing took place in Yemasee, South Carolina. He is a proud graduate of Battery Creek High School in Burton, South Carolina, studied Business Administration at Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. Andre also attended Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Decatur(Atlanta)GA; and is currently pursuing a degree in Education(Piano Instrumental)at Charleston Southern University in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Andre L. Locke, Licensed Funeral Director 3890, Licensed Embalmer 4467, Managing Director of Summerville Chapel, is currently a member and the Musician for the New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church in Yemassee, South Carolina, under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Anthony L. Dix.
Andre serves on the College of Education Advisory Council, a member of the National Education Association, The South Carolina Education Association, and member of the South Carolina Morticians Association District 1, as the Secretary. Funeral Service from the perspective of Andre is an all-encompassing term; it’s not only a job, but one of exceptional prudence. Andre’s goal is always to exhibit excellence when serving humanity, with dignity, honor, knowledge, and respect. Funeral Service is not simply a service; but indeed, a celebration of a life well lived.
