We will be happy to go over all your options and answer any questions that you may have.
Our traditional funeral services allow family and friends to observe a period of visitation at the funeral home, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home's chapel, family church, or other location of your choosing: with interment (ground burial or entombment) held in a cemetery.
While a family may choose to have their loved one cremated, they may also wish to include some aspects of a traditional funeral service. We can certainly work with the family to accommodate your wishes. Visiting hours may take place at the funeral home with casketed remains present followed by the cremation. Alternatively, the family may elect to have the casketed remains taken to a church for the traditional funeral service before the cremation takes place.
A family may choose to have a cremation rather than a traditional funeral service. When a direct or immediate cremation is chosen, the remains are cremated without being present for visiting hours at the funeral home or a church service. Often, a memorial service at a church or at the funeral home will take place at a later time as a way to reflect and remember your loved one.
A direct burial involves casketing and burial of remains with no public visiting hours or funeral service. A Committal service is customarily held at the graveside, which may be followed by a memorial service at a church or at the funeral home at a future time as a way to reflect and remember your loved one.
A memorial service is conducted without the body present and can vary in ceremony and procedures. It can be held at the funeral home or at a locaion of your choice. In order to create a memorial service that is unique as your loved one, we encourage you to help personalize the service with memorabilia, photographs, or other personal items.
A graveside service is held at the burial site. This service maybe limited to the immediate family or open to all. After the service, there are options for a memorial service at the funeral home chapel, church, or venue of choice.
