LADSON, SC - In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Ms. Machia Ja'net Bickham, 23 of Ladson, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 7, 2019.

A TIME TO BE BORN Machia Bickham was born June 28, 1996 to Mr. Malachi Duberry and Ms. Tonya Bickham in Charleston County. She was the third oldest nine children. A TIME TO PLANT Machia was educated in the Charleston and Dorchester County School system. She was employed in the hospitality Industry. Her first love was cosmetology. She was a self-employed cosmetologist. Creating beautiful hair styles that her caused her clientele to grow. A TIME TO LOVE Machia loved her family and her family loved her. She was known to be very giving with a contagious smile. Her smile would light up the room. Her friends knew her to be loyal and outgoing. To those she loved they knew they could count on her. A TIME TO DIE She departed this life on December 7, 2019. Machia was loved and will be missed by her family and friends A TIME TO REMEMBER Machia memories will be cherished by her parents Malachi (Linda) Duberry and Tanya (Christopher) Bickham both of Ladson, SC. Siblings Delonte Bickham, Marketta Bickham, Davonte Bickham, Michelle McLean, Damonte Bickham, Malachi Takeall, Malachia Rose, Anthony Boney and Labryan McCants. Grandparents Jannette Duberry, Summerville SC, Harold Duberry, New York, Marshele (Calvin) Kelly, New York and Clifford Bickham, New York. Five aunts, two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
