SUMMERVILLE, SC -  In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Sandra Jean Nelson King, 50 of Summerville, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Saturday evening, August 10, 2019 at a local hospital. She is the beloved wife of Mr. Robert King.

 Sandy was born Sandra Jean Nelson on March 19th 1969 in Joliet, IL.  Sandy worked and lived in the mid-west before moving to South Carolina in 2001.  The early part of Sandy's career she was a very successful entrepreneur in the Chicago area and later a very accomplished seamstress in the mid-west and South Carolina.

 Sandy's first son was born Lester Keith Hardcastle Jr. on May 30th, 1995 but everyone called him Buddy.  Sandy's second son was born Wesley Brant King on October 1st 2003 in Mount Pleasant.  Living here since 2001 Sandy and her surviving husband were married February 3rd 2003 in Summerville.

 Sandy was the most honest, loving, ball of fire you ever met.  She was the most giving caring person. She had a heart made of pure gold and would do anything for you.  Sandy was a great person, the best wife and mother and will be missed by her surviving family and friends.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents; Roland Louis Nelson, Sr. and Mary Kathryn Couch Nelson, her son Lester Keith Hardcastle, Jr., and her sister Veronica Lyn Dechausse.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Robert King, her son, Wesley Brant King and her siblings; Roland Louis Nelson, Jr., Mary June Long, Jennifer Sue Heflin and Joseph Hyrum Nelson, and host of other family members and friends.
