RIDGEVILLE, SC - In profound sorrow the Perry and Snipes Families announce the passing of their beloved Mrs. Irene Snipes Perry, 75 of Ridgeville, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, August 5, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Perry is the widow of Mr. Harry Perry.
Her Life's Story
Mrs. Irene Snipes Perry daughter of the late Benjamin and Clyde Snipes was born April 24, 1945 in Charleston, S.C. On Wednesday August 5, 2020 she entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family in Ridgeville, SC. Irene fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. If you want to see her again, you can find her in heaven dancing with the angels.
Irene received her education in the public schools of Charleston County.
In 1965, she was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Harry Perry who preceded her in death. From their union they were blessed with four girls.
Irene dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Canaan United Methodist Church where she served as an Usher for many years.
In Irene’s spare time she loved to read, sew, knit, make homemade lotions and cook delicious meals for her family.
Irene was a nurturer and always made sure her family and friends were well taken care of. She was an extremely generous person who was always willing to help others.
Irene was loyally devoted to her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories four loving daughters, Kimberly D. Morrison (Kelvin), Tonya V. Manigault, Cassandra R. Perry, Tricia D. Lane; Mother-In-Law, Evelyn Goodwine-Perry; Siblings, Thelma Sanders (George), Johnnie Snipes (Delores), Geraldine Goddard (Robert), Izena Baxter (Clarence), James Gillians (Sandi); Sisters-In-Law, Pearline Williams, Yolanda Aviles, Maggie Perry, Sylvia Perry, Augel Perry, Annette Murray, Catherine Green, Lillian Goodwine, Anglish Goodwine; Brothers-In-Law, Edward Perry Richard Perry, Johnnie Perry, Nabil, James Goodwine, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
