CHARLESTON, SC - In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of The Serenity Mortuary announce he passing of Mrs. Elizabeth "Liz" Hunt Alston, 82 of Charleston, SC. who entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning February 19, 2022 at a local hospital. Mrs. Alston is the beloved wife of Mr. Albert Alston. Mrs. Alston was a former Chairwoman with the Charleston County Schoolboard, a former Principal and Educator with Charleston County School System for many years. Mrs. Alston was also the Historian for the Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church, Charleston, SC.
