Mr. Larry L. Duesterbeck Obituary

SUMMERVILLE, SC - In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Larry L. Duesterbeck, 83 of Summerville, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at a local hospital. Mr. Duesterbeck is a US Army Veteran and the beloved husband of Mrs. Carnice Bunch Duesterbeck.

Larry L Duesterbeck, 83, passed away February 18, 2021 at MUSC hospital. A great man, Larry was born on July 4th, 1937 in Walworth County, Wisconsin. Larry spent time serving in the United States Army before becoming an electrician at the Charleston Naval Shipyard until its closing. He would go on to start his own business as a self-employed electrician until his retirement. Larry was a selfless man who was always looking to help other in any way he could. With a strong love for animals Larry could often be found sitting out on his lawn feeding the ducks, and geese with his tiny pride and joy poodle Annie. Remembered as a well-respected man who brought light to a normal conversation, and knowledge to an insightful one. We would like to thank his neighbors and friends of Oakbrook Commons. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carnice Genny Duesterbeck; his children Gina Puckhaber, and Michael Duesterbeck; his grandchildren Steven Puckhaber, Nicholas Puckhaber and Larry Puckhaber; his great grandchild Emma Puckhaber; his brother Dewayne Duesterbeck; other relatives, and many friends. Predeceased by his son Steven L Duesterbeck. He will be forever missed, and always remembered as the strong, amazing, and caring person he was.
