Ridgeville, SC - The Management and Staff of The Serenity Mortuary announce the passing of Mr. Frankie Doctor, 75 of Ridgeville, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Mr. Doctor is the beloved husband of Mrs. Nora Elaine Doctor and a United States Army Veteran.

Celebration of Life
Mr. Frankie Doctor was born December 29, 1947, in Ridgeville, South Carolina to the late Mr. Willie "Cag" Doctor and Mrs. Eloise “Gramps” Haigood Doctor of Ridgeville, South Carolina. On June 24, 2023, he entered into eternal rest.
Frankie attended Clay Elementary and Jenkins Hill High School in Dorchester County, South Carolina and went on to serve in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam veteran and received the Purple Heart honor of distinction. Frankie started his career with Raybestos-Manhattan of North Charleston, South Carolina. Frankie later worked with his Uncle Melvin Haigood, Broyhill Furniture Manufacturing and ended his career (retirement) at Stark Truss, Inc. Frankie enjoyed playing baseball, coaching youth baseball teams, fishing, watching Westerns, visiting with family and friends, storytelling, laughing and joking.
Frankie Doctor and Nora Elaine Nelson were married on June 25, 1971, in holy matrimony. To this union four sons were born: Dwain Conrad, Dwight Kenyatta, Frankie Krashon, Damon Nelson Doctor
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Willie and Eloise Doctor; his sister Eliza Collins and brothers: Ernest "Chunky" Doctor, Willis "Babe" (Hattie) Doctor, Ruben "Kevin" (Lennie) Doctor, Charles (Betty) Doctor.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife N. Elaine Doctor. Four sons: D. Conrad Doctor of Casper, Wyoming, Dwight K. (Dashana) Doctor of Midlothian, Texas, Frankie Doctor of Summerville, SC, Damon N. (Michelle) Doctor of Lafayette, Lousiana. Six grandchildren: Juwan A. Doctor, Quindarius Smalls, DeMario Doctor, Danielle Doctor, Dasia Doctor, Dominic Doctor. Seven siblings: Milton “Monkey Do” Doctor, Jimmy (Edna) Doctor, Carroll Doctor, Deloris (Thaddeus) Davis, Michael (Annie Ruth) Doctor, Greg (Dorothea) Doctor, Keith (Loretta) Doctor, Deloris “Sue” Doctor (Sister- In-Law), Mr. Frank (Geneva) Nelson (Brother-In-Law) of Charleston, SC., Mrs. Essie M. (the late Walter “Gus”) Lee (Sister-In-Law) of Modena, PA, Mrs. Neomi N. (the late James) Tucker of Miami, FL. Two Aunts: Carol (the late Melvin) Haigood, of Summerville, S.C., Betty (Langley) Sedwick of Harrisburg, PA. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Frankie was loved and cherished by all.
