Mr. Clinton Burbridge

SUMMERVILLE, SC - In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Clinton Burbridge, 89 of Summerville, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Sunday morning, December 6, 2020 at a local hospital. Mr. Burbridge is the beloved husband of Mrs. Bessie M. Burbridge.

Life's Reflections

Clinton Burbridge was born March 2nd 1931 in Queenhythe Discovery Bay Jamaica, to the late Aubrey and Alma Burbridge. He was a brother to Roughie, Gloria, Busha, Gem and Carmen.

Clinton lived in England most of his adult life and was employed as a welder. He went on to live in New York where he met and married Bessie Mae and later retired in Summerville South Carolina.

Clinton was a humble and quite man, loved to walk, have a joke, and always laughing! His garden was his pastime, immaculate and proud to show off his Calla aethiopica flowers each year!

 Clinton and Bessie Mae enjoyed their holiday visiting their family in England. They both loved the English fish and chips that every day at lunch time they would both walk hand in hand to the chip shop and dine in.

His memories will be cherished by his wife Bessie Mae, children, Virginia (aka Marlene) Everton (aka Johnny) Angela, David. Grandchildren, Yolanda, Iman, Anthony, Shannaz, Great Grandson Anthony, his family in England and his extended family by marriage.
