RIDGEVILLE, SC - In profound sorrow the Moore Family announces the passing of their beloved Apostle Henry L. Moore, Jr., 76 of Ridgeville, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, November 21, 2020. Apostle Moore is the beloved husband of Pastor Flossie M. Sanders Moore.

The Life of God's Servant, Apostle Henry L. Moore, Jr.

Apostle Henry L. Moore Jr. was born August 17, 1944 to Mr. Henry L. Moore Sr. and Mrs. Lawanas (Edmondson) Moore in Rosedale, Alabama.

Apostle Moore united in marriage to Pastor Flossie Moore on January 3, 1970 and to this Union three (3) children were born Gerald W. Moore, Thomas A. Moore, Sean D. Moore.

Early in life he graduated from Charles Evans Hugh High School in New York, NY. Apostle Moore served in the Air Force and was Honorable Discharged on February 18, 1970. He earned a degree in Theology from St. Paul College in New York, NY. Apostle Moore was employed at Banker Trust Company in New York, NY as an assistant supervisor, US Postal Service in Long Island, NY, Birmingham, AL, and Columbia, SC. and he retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Marine Machinist Shop 038 in 1995.

Apostle Moore served as the Overseer of Christ Temple Deliverance Church on 283 Hwy 78, Ridgeville, SC for 44 Years. He was a loving and caring person and love to preach the word of God.  He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Moore Sr., Lawanas Moore, Sister Carolyn Moore and Aunt Nokomis Anderson.

His memory will be forever cherished by his beloved wife Pastor Flossie Moore Ridgeville, SC, Gerald (Arletta) Moore, Atlanta, GA Thomas A. Moore, Atlanta, GA, Sean Moore, Ridgeville, SC, two grandsons, Dominic A. Moore, Joshua A. Moore, one great granddaughter Braylynn Moore, and a host of cousins, friends, nieces, nephews and all the family in Alabama and Ridgeville, SC.

Apostle Moore attended Christ Temple Deliverance Church, Apostle Charles Manson NYC, and Apostle William Brown, Salvation and Deliverance Church in NYC.
