Ms. Ursulee Frazier Obituary (1939

CHARLESTON, SC - In profound sorrow the Frazier Family announces the passing of their beloved Ms. Ursulee Frazier, 81 of Charleston, SC., who entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, August 14, 2020 at her residence. Her Life's Story "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." - Psalms 23: 6 Sister Ursulee Frazier one of fourteen children, she was born March 26, 1939 to the late Elder Sandy Frazier Jr. and Viola Smalls Frazier in Charleston, SC., where her roots were anchored in the Lord. Ursulee confessed Christ and became a member of St James United Presbyterian Church (now St. James Presbyterian Church, USA) her spiritual ability flourish under the leadership of the late Elder Abram (Humble) Brown and the late Reverend Marion A. Sanders. She participated in all of the programs of the church and Sunday school program of the church. She gladly attended vacation Bible School, the children and youth choir, Westminster Minister Fellowship/Youth Group. Ursulee was a God-fearing woman and gladly shared her wisdom with those she encountered. She had a pleasant personality and always wore a smile and was a joy to be around. Ursulee spent her formative years at St. James Presbyterian Parochial School where she participated in the choir, the annual Christmas and school closing plays, the May Day Exercise and all of the numerous activities of the school. At the age of seventeen Ursulee moved to Newark, NJ to live with her maternal grand aunt Cecelia Todd Eurie. She returned to Charleston and completed her studies and graduated from St. James Parochial School in June of 1958. She often reminisces of those days and the lasting teaching she received. Upon graduating from high-school she returned to New Jersey where she made her home for forty years. She began her career by working for the Deluxe Corporation and later went on to work for Goody's Hair Product as an assembly worker. She went back to school for Dietary class and received a certificate and was employed by the Irvington School District of Irvington, NJ. She always believed that education was important and encouraged her daughter to seek higher education. She would say to her daughter "Once you get a degree no one can take it away." She worked briefly for Cross Cutters Drug Store in Union NJ before returning home. Ursulee made lasting friendship while in New Jersey with Mary Cotton and Patricia Sorry and remain friends to her death. In 1977 Ursulee met her fiance Robert Lee Jr. and in 1980 they became the parents of Leticia Lee. Ursulee was not one to be idle and held various jobs upon returning home, (domestic position with the Wagner family) until they moved to Florida in 1995. She began her new career with Dollar Tree Corporation and became well known for her caring attitude, outstanding, and amazing customer service skills. After completing fifteen years of service with Dollar Tree she retired in 2010. During her retirement, she devoted some of her time with her beloved nephew Ralph, Jr., who she referred to as "Boot" or visiting or providing care for various family members. She enjoyed walking and working in the yard. She enjoyed the holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings. After Ursulee's precious granddaughter Victoria was born, Ursulee found her to be very entertaining or being amused by the things she did and say. They loved each other dearly and willingly shared the gift of love. Ursulee Frazier entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 14, 2020, 7:30pm at her home in West Ashley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary Lease and Lydia Frazier, Florence Richardson, and Janie Cromwell; brothers Sandy III, and Jimmie Frazier. Her maternal grandparents; Daniel and Lucy Todd Small; paternal grandparents Sandy, Sr. and Mary Chavis Frazier; Two uncles; seven aunts, three nephews, three nieces, one sister in law, and four brothers in laws. Ursulee leaves her legacy of love and a caring family to cherish her memories and celebrate her beautiful life. Her devoted daughter Leticia Lee Wine, her son-in-law Victor Wine and her granddaughters Little Miss Victoria and Kashonna Wine. Extended daughter's Wanda Gibbons (Lamont), Geraldine Barrow (Moses Barrow), Helen Lee, and Linda Cornwell (Tommy Cormwell). Her siblings; Eugene Frazier, Sr., Julia A. Frazier, Eva Seabrook (Charlie, Sr.) Sylvia Blake, Lillie Riley (Robert, Sr.) Rosa L. Fergerson and Jacqueline F. Hill,. Brother-in-law' Ralph Richardson, Sr. Her wonderful care givers Janet Capers, Edith Pratt, Theresa Middleton, and special niece Pamela Brown. One aunt; Elouise Frazier, fourteen nephews and fifteen nieces, and a host of grand and great grand nieces and nephews, cousins, her church family, other relatives, and close friends.
