Mrs. Wadean Parker

SUMMERVILLE, SC - In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Wadean Parker, 85 of Summerville, SC and widow of Mr. Edward Parker, who entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, February 16, 2018 at a local hospital.

Wadean Parker was born on August 29, 1932 in Royston, Georgia to the late Larkin Rousey White and Ellen Grace Hull.

Years later, as a child, she would move with her parents and two other siblings, a sister, the late Aldonia Hardrick and a brother,  the late James White, to Detroit, Michigan where she grew up. In years later, another sibling was born to Larkin and Ellen, Timothy, who is deceased.

Unto the marriage union of Robert Mauney, Jr. (deceased) was  their first born Sharon L. Mauney (Ronald L. Thomason). Years later, unto the marriage of Edward Parker Jr. (deceased), was born Gregory E. Parker, Jason H. Parker (Roslyn K. White) and Gordon E. Parker.

Wadean's accomplishments during her marriage, aside from raising four children while working, were civic duties, including working for the city of Detroit government as well receiving her degree in ministry studies.

She leaves behind, her daughter, 3 sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and relatives.
